Text Box: Safety Pins Text Box: Clothes: Hang clean clothes on WIRE hangers (found at Dry Cleaners or Kid’s Market) with hanger open facing left. NO plastic coated wire hangers (found at Wal-Mart and Kmart), or you will have to cut the plastic off the hook. They don’t slide well on the racks and your clothes may be overlooked. No plastic hangers. No hangers with cardboard for bottom bar. Do not bend hangers. Hang all clothes on hanger, including onesies. Socks and underwear may be put in zip lock bags. Must be clean, in good condition, no stains or holes. Ironing is highly recommended. The better they look, the quicker they sell! A piece of masking tape with your 4 digit number (only) can be placed inside the neck of each garment, in case the tag comes off. Safety pin pants/skirt/shorts at top of waistband (not at the hips) to top bar of hanger. See example below. For multi-piece outfits, use one hanger, place shirt on hanger, then safety pin pants/skirt/shorts thru waistband, to back of shirt at the shoulders with the safety pin going around hanger bar for support. Do NOT put pants/skirt/shorts underneath shirt. Do not safety pin pants or skirts to the bottom hem of shirt, only at the shoulders. Write the size on the tag as a number, not S, M, L, XL. For Children sizes, guess at the number size, if you must. If the item fits like a smaller or larger size, write “fits like” then the size it fits like. Use “Jr-”size for junior and “M-”size, for maternity items. We do not accept Adult, non-Maternity clothes. We accept Young Men’s clothes (not adult men’s styles). Use “YM-”size for young men items. Safety pin tag to the right side of the garment using medium (#1) or large (#2) safety pins (NO STRAIGHT PINS ALLOWED, they are dangerous). NO pins smaller than 1 inch. Note: Extra large pins may leave holes. Do not pin through raincoats, suede, leather or faux leather (See FAQs).
